Hidradenitis Suppurativa?
Does anyone else out their think that treating Hidradenitis Suppurativa with conventional median just makes it worse? Ive herd such horror story’s about acutaine and surgeries that just take it away for a while and then it comes back worse then ever. In my family it typically goes away by 25 and I am now 21 been suffering since I was 10, Ive never had health insurance to i really was never treated, aside form expensive ER lancing of the huge one Ive had throughout the years. Anyway this had been my best winter yet, not many Ive have to lance at all. What makes it naturally go away?
Nothing cures it, which sucks the big one….but lime juice does help. Not the stuff in the bottle, but actual slices of lime rubbed over the bump, will help take the swelling down in a few days. I also have HS, and know what you’re going thru, it’s so frustrating to deal with. I have also used plain old saline with pretty good success, I get this stuff called H2Ocean, it’s used for healing tattoos and piercings, and works well on the bumps as well. It’s expensive though, so I prefer the limes. Hope that helps!

I have had two surgeries and they have both helped me a great deal. The only pill I take for HS is Ibuprofen, for the pain and the fever that develops in the infected area. I have tried a lot of antibiotics and they never worked.
