  2. Hi everyone! Yes, I too suffer from HS for over 25 yrs now. On 9/5/10 I found a pharmacist who recommended “Zinc Oxide” and I think I hit the jackpot! I don’t hurt, my boils are drying up and they don’t ooze and it’s only been 3 days of usage. My boils are under my armpit and groin. I hope you too try it out, best of luck and God bless!   6. ASPIVENIN! Suck the buggers out and they go…….wait till they burst, suck it out clean up stick a plaster on, it goes flat,that spot heals,.Im going back off the meds had about 5 in last week since I restarted since stopping no new ones, about £15!
    Dont wait for thr NHS just buy it. nowt to lose huh. x

  7. Took erthromycin stearate for about 8 years plus major surgery to cut out the areas it appeared in didnt work, took myself off meds for two years de stressed,now better and with no meds better,. but the scarring bothered me so thought Id try the meds again which made it worse agony,

  8. hello everyone.i am 22 years old with 3 kids.i have suffererd HS since i was 14.it took my doctor 4 years to figure out what it was.i was constantle told that it was ingrown hairs.it is so interesting to know that i am not alone with this chronic skin condition.I think there should be some research into this as so we could have more treatments and maybe some cure for this hell.my heart goes out to everyone.xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

  9. I’m 20 and have had HS since I was 8. Today I was finally able to put a name to this disease. Despite occasional pain over the years, it’s been manageable. I played soccer in high school, and am into cycling now. I’m being as optimistic as possible about this, and am simply hoping that it doesn’t worsen. This year I lost 60 pounds, and that helped. Also, cannabis helps. As of tonight I am making big lifestyle changes: Diet overhaul, soap switch, wardrobe re-eval, etc.

    I won’t let this beat me!

  10. Just be happy guys there’s other people in this world who suffer worse than this just remeber the more u suffer in this world the easier it will b in the next from a religiuos point of view. peace guys just smile

  11. seriuosly my skin has started to heal well i havnt had a break out for about 3 months now im really chuffed.

  12. I have also been diagnosed with underactive thyroid and high levels of testodterone. Howver, guys my Hs has been controlled since my doctor started me on the contraceptive pill Dianette and combination of oesterogen and progestrone pill.

  13. i have had HS since i was 10 i remeber its painfull embaressing and u feel ur all alone been doctors gave me antibiotics didnt help much… its now been 12 yrs later still have it im 22 now and its depressinf condition. hiwever, u have to cope wid it and deal with it u have no choice

  14. i have has HS since i was like 10 yrs old kept going soctors gave me antbitics they went then came back. now they have spread to my groin arae under both arms the worst thing for me is the scars they leave black brown scars and its embaressing.

I am a sufferer for 15 years, and it is really hard to relate. this video is the first face I could place to another sufferer and it was really reassurring that there are many people out there that feel the same as I do…and I thank you for coming out and sharing with us.     I am currently involved in my own personal food hunt. I’ve started eating low glycemic index foods – only the most basic whole foods right now and I’ll work up from there.
    I first spotted signs of HS when I was 13 but it didn’t really manifest itself until my early 20′s. My late 20′s and early 30′s (I’m 36 now) were a nightmare, but things seem to (I hate to say this, it might jinx it, lol) have leveled off some and I have my dr. on standby if I need a dose of minocycline every now and then.

  22. I suppose it has in that due to HS I had to give up my job as a teacher. Being at home 24/7 drove me mad with boredom, so I set about learning to use a lot of software and began to use acrylics. Over time I learned to create and edit video and to animate stuff.

    The daily pain led to the daily use of cannabis, which in turn gave me inspiration and a new angle of cognition which was then developed in my work.
